We recently competed a large renovation with Elite custom homes. Our build had some unique aspects in that it was a modern and contemporary addition to an existing Victorian home. Our existing Victorian portion required extensive refurbishment and reinstatement of ornate period features. Also, the modern addition design contained some unique and custom elements from the foundation solution right up to the mains electrical connection. Elite custom homes were extremely flexible, capable and willing to accommodate all aspects and complexities of the design to complete the design. We are very pleased with finished result.

Before starting my renovation I was fortunate to see the high quality craftsmanship of Elite Custom Homes at one of their completed projects close by to where I live. However, what really impressed me with both Amedeo and Wayne from the outset was their open and honest communication. This was my number one key priority… working with builders who were responsive and transparent. I’m glad to say there were no unforeseen surprises and the total cost inclusive of variations was within the threshold of what I believed was reasonable. Amedeo and Wayne of Elite Custom Homes are professional, respectful and driven people. They shared their vast knowledge of home building with us during the planning stages prior to signing that made us comfortable that we were dealing with reputable and trustworthy people. No doubt their excellent advice ensured that we achieved a beautiful home. During the building process we were able to inspect the build and ask lots of questions. Both Wayne and Amedeo listened and helped us understand what was going on; and were always very accommodating and very fair when we changed our mind, which happened on numerous occasions: inclusion of a gas fire, preparation of a wall suitable for a recessed large screen, ensuring that we were happy with the air conditioning-heating ceiling ducts, reinventions of the front porch and side entrance, and the ongoing evolution of the quality of our floors (we initially wanted Brush Box, but Wayne allowed a very reasonable upgrade to Turpentine) to recite a few examples. Our family enjoyed the building experience, seeing our dream home come to life during the build. We were very pleased with the finished house: Wayne’s and Amedeo’s attention to both quality and detail were obvious, we were very grateful that they came with us on our home building journey. After we had been in our home for many months, through no fault of anyone a large sliding door-come wall became stuck. I can tell you that both Wayne and Amedeo came as soon as we let them know we had a problem, absolute quality after sales-service and they fixed the problem with no fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending Elite Custom Homes to anybody who wants craftsman-quality and a fair price for their build. I would use Elite Custom Homes on any next building project of ours. I most certainly would recommend Wayne and Amedeo to my sons when they build a home.

We recently had extension work done including a lovely terrace built by Elite Custom Homes on top of our car garage. The entire process went smoothly and we are very happy with the results. The company did not give the least expensive quote, however they had a good reputation on social media. The company employs experienced tradesmen, not amateur trades as many of the big name builders, and results are evident. We were able to remain in the house during the construction phase, and although it was a little chilly at times, were treated well by all of the different trades. Inevitable glitches occurred during and after construction, these were promptly attended to and rectified by Wayne and Amedeo. We are happy to recommend the company for any construction job of this scale, and would like to point out we have not received any remuneration for this post.
